LoopRace

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about racing, track building and the garage. Full controls are in the how-to-play guide.

Do I need an account or download?

No. LoopRace runs free in a browser using JavaScript, WebGL and WebSockets. You need a current desktop or mobile browser. The game creates a browser-linked guest account for coins and purchases.

Can I play alone against bots?

Yes. Open a lobby and add bots. They build their own arcade tracks and race your series. Up to seven bots can join you.

How do I play with friends?

Share the lobby code or invitation link. Every human player gets ready before the host starts the series. Private lobbies do not appear in the public list. Up to eight drivers can join.

Why can't I see the building tools yet?

Confirm your closed circuit first. Then place items, obstacles, water, boosts and scenery manually or automatically. Water partly outside the road does not block an otherwise valid track.

How do I drift on mobile?

Hold throttle on the left and drag that finger left or right. Keep steering with your right hand to control how tight the turn is. Slide your throttle finger back to end the drift. Play in landscape.

Why did I earn few or no coins?

Bot races pay less than races with several real players. The server must confirm a valid, completed result. Abandoned or invalid races may receive no reward. There is no daily limit.

Do purchased parts make my car faster?

No. All tuning parts are cosmetic. Preview them on your car before confirming a purchase at the part. Earn coins by playing.

Can I transfer my coins to another device?

Not automatically at present. A necessary cookie links your guest account to this browser. Deleting it or changing browsers can remove access to your previous balance.

What helps with connection problems?

Your car responds locally while the server confirms the race state. The game tries to reconnect after short interruptions. A stable Wi-Fi or wired connection reduces delays. Longer interruptions may require rejoining.

Where is advertising loaded?

Only the public homepage loads Google's tag for the consent dialog. Ad requests are paused during this overhaul. The lobby, editor and races do not load an AdSense tag. Manage Google consent in Google's dialog and optional Umami analytics separately under Privacy settings. See the privacy policy for details.
